Wizards vs. Asteroid is the 17th episode of the fourth season of Wizards of Waverly Place, and the 96th overall. It aired on August 19, 2011.
Summary
When it is announced that a huge asteroid is hurtling towards the Earth, the Russos decide to hide in the wizard world, but Alex, Justin and Max change their minds and and go into space to destroy the asteroid.
Plot
When NASA reports of an asteroid heading for earth, the russo family, including Harper and Zeke, must go to the wizard portal to live their lives in the wizard world.
Once they walk in, they all walk out and they change their minds and don't want to sacrifice all the people of the world and get Justin's Captain Sherwood Space ship to blast off into space to destroy the aistroid.
But when the upside down rocket does not work, they have to figure out the 5 number digits.
Alex thinks its 12345 and she is right. Once they start leaving, Justin sits down to carve his name into the astroid to prove he was there. Once he gets up, his leg is stuck, forcing them to go down to less than 2 minutes.
After that, Alex takes her wand then turns him into a starfish, causing him to loose a leg and grow one back.
They have 11 seconds remaining and head home after the astroid is destroyed.
But a small part of the astroid will still hit their school.
