Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is a Disney Channel and Disney+ original series that serves as a sequel to Wizards of Waverly Place. The series was created by original creator Todd J. Greenwald David Henrie, Janice LeAnn Brown, Alkaio Thiele, Mimi Gianopulos, Max Matenko and Taylor Cora. The series follows a now-adult Justin Russo's return to magic when a powerful young wizard shows up at his door.

Selena Gomez, Maria Canals-Barrera, Jake T Austin, and David DeLuise are set to reprise their Wizards of Waverly Place roles.

The series premiered on October 29, 2024 on Disney Channel.

Premise[]

The series follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada Russo, Roman Russo, and Milo Russo. When Justin’s sister Alex brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities — and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World.

Billie, a powerful young wizard at the center of a mysterious prophecy, is sent to live in the mortal world with the only wizard teacher who can help her control her powers — Justin Russo.
