"Wizard of the Year" is the fifteenth episode of season four of Wizards of Waverly Place, and the ninety-fourth of the overall series. It first aired on July 8, 2011.
Synopsis
Alex is surprisingly made Wizard of the Year. But, Reports make it seem like she is dating Chase which makes Mason jealous. Mason changes into a werewolf and attacks Chase ruining the banquet Alex manages to break them apart then must choose between Chase and Mason she chooses neither and tells Mason he has to trust her so they break up then Alex gets her trophy and leaves.
Meanwhile, the other Russo family members are asked to make a holographic video stating how proud they are of Alex, but when Justin makes a negative video explaining why he should have gotten the award, he tries to redo it.
At the end, Mason is still at the wizard banquet, looking at the corsage he gave to Alex, heartbroken.
Alex out on the terrace, heard Mason's howl from a distance.
