Alex breaks up the fight, and is forced to choose either Mason or Chase. Appalled by Mason's behavior that evening and the fact that he did not trust her when she told him nothing was happening, she breaks up with him. Chase asks her out, but she tells him that she got out of her previous relationship "literally a second ago". She then accepts her award and goes home.

"Wizard of the Year" is the sixteenth episode of season four of Wizards of Waverly Place, and the ninety-seventh of the overall series. It first aired on July 8, 2011.

Summary
