"The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex" is an upcoming Disney Channel Special Event based on the TV series Wizards of Waverly Place. It will be the sequel to "Wizards of Waverly Place - The Movie" premieres March 15th 8pm ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Production
The special was announced on September 27, 2012 and was shot from October 22 to November 10, 2012 in California. It will be executive produced by Selena Gomez. While David Henrie originally planned to star in the special, the shooting schedule conflicted with the shooting of an upcoming film he'll be starring in, therefore Henrie will only make a special guest appearance in the Disney Channel Original Movie. Even though the series ended, this movie was in production before they ended the series, making this the very last project of Wizards of Waverly Place. It will be aired on March 15, 2013.
Description:
Alex Russo accidentally casts a spell that splits her into a good and evil Alex. The evil Alex teams up with Dominic and tries to destroy the world.
One question remains...... Will they succeed?
Trivia
- Selena Gomez will be co-producing this film and it was her idea to come up with this movie because she said that she missed being Alex Russo and she wanted to get a chance to be her one more time.
