Season 3 of Wizards of Waverly Place was broadcast on Disney Channel from October 9, 2009 to October 15, 2010.
Premise
The Russo children, Alex, Justin and Max continue to compete to become the leading wizard in their family and meet many friends and adversaries along the way. The are joined in their adventures by their parents, Jerry and Theresa as well as Alex's best friend, Harper Finkle.

Trivia
- This is the first season of the series to be broadcast in high definition.
- The Logos have changed. The It's a Laugh Productions logo is the 2009 logo and the Disney Channel logo is the 2007 logo seen in the film. It keeps its 2002 theme until Season 4.
- This is the last season in which Selena Gomez and David Henrie were the only cast members present for all its episodes and the last season in which Jennifer Stone is not present for every episode given that in season 4 Jennifer Stone is present for all its episodes alongside Selena Gomez and David Henrie.
