Perry M. Rein is a producer and writer for Wizards of Waverly Place having written 29 episodes of the show, which include Wizards vs. Werewolves, Alex Charms a Boy, Marathoner Helper.

He has also wrote for Friends and Becker, and was an executive story editor and producer for Friends, too.

Rein spent his first three years in Los Angeles working as Al Pacino's driver. Pacino's assistant eventually got Rein a job as a production assistant on a sitcom, but Rein was fired two months later - on his birthday - because a producer wanted to hire his nephew for the job.
