- Staten Island was depicted as still in the midst of the Squonk-magicked snowfall from When You Wish Upon a Squonk even though the magic was supposed to dissipate after the creature was returned to his ball.
- Alex Russo appears with a new hairstyle.
- Wuber is a wizard version of Uber and it appears in this episode.
- Roman and Milo become wizards after getting blasted from Silas Evilini's Power Vacuum. They also get their very own wands from McFigglehorn at the end of the episode.
- It is possible that Roman and Milo had powers (due to inheriting it from their father) but theirs weren't inherited until they were exposed to the Power Vacuum's energy.
