Maxine Russo was an alter-ego of Max Russo that was created when Alex and Justin crossed spells and accidentally transformed him into a little girl. The cover-up story the Russos came up with to explain Maxine's existence is that Maxine is their cousin from North Dakota. She is portrayed by Bailee Madison.

Trivia[]

She can beat nearly anyone in karate.
Maxine is a very good singer, unlike Max.
Maxine acts a bit smarter and more devious than Max because she didn't do some of the more stupid stuff like Max did, but she still does have some traits that Max also has. For example, she is unable to spell "BLT."
She is smarter than Max, and is skilled at karate.
Production wise, she was created after Jake T. Austin had to temporarily leave the show so he could finish his role in the Blue Sky Studios film, Rio.
