"Make It Happen" is the eleventh episode of Season 2 of Wizards of Waverly Place, and the thirty-second overall of the series. It first aired on January 1, 2009.
Plot[]
Alex has a dream of being a professional drummer while her father doesn't want her to be one. Justin decides to join the band and later leaves because Alex names the band "BURN". Justin doesn't like that name. He instead likes to play slow guitar but Alex forces him not to. Meanwhile, Max becomes a magician, and he uses magic secretly while his parents don't know about it. Jerry has a dream of being a bull rider named "Italian Buckaroo", and Theresa thinks they're just living their dream.

- Magic hasn't been used in this episode, but it was used only by Max because he wants to be a magician.
- In case Alex doesn't win the Family Wizard Competition, which will be revealed in Who Will Be The Family Wizard. She wants to be a famous Rock and Roll Drummer, which may or may not happen.
- Justin wants to make money by touring the world by beating robots at chess.
- It is revealed that Justin can play the guitar.
- The title of this episode has the same title as the song Alex and Justin sing at the sub station.
- Max wanted to work at the sub station, but he changed his mind.
- Harper doesn't appear in this episode. This is her third absence in season 2
- This is the first episode of season 2 to air in 2009.
- This episode aired at the special time of Midnight (ET/PT). Because of this, in the Central and Mountain time zones, it aired on December 31, 2008 at 11 p.m.
- Jerry wanted to become a bull rider, but his dad was a rodeo clown and thought that bull riders were stuck-ups. Jerry ended up owning a sandwich shop instead.
- Jerry's bull riding name was going to be "The Italian Buckaroo"
- This is the first time that we see Alex sing on the show. But she is the one who sings the intro song of the show.
- It is revealed that Alex and Justin have musical talents.
