Jake T. Austin is an American Actor. He is mainly known for playing Max Russo on Wizards of Waverly Place.

Early Life[]

Jake T. Austin was born Jake Toranzo Austin Szymanki in New York City. And is the son of Giny and Joey Szymanski. He has a sister, Ava, who is seven years younger than he is.

Career[]

Austin performed the voice of Diego, the lead character in the show Go, Diego, Go!, which is shown on Nick Jr. He played the role of Max Russo in the Disney Channel Original Series Wizards of Waverly Place. He has also provided voices for animated moves such as The Ant Bully and Everyone's Hero, and appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Johnny Kaphala: Back of Board. He also starred in The Perfect Game, Hotel of Dogs, and the Disney Channel Original Movie, Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie. He also guest-starred on Suite Life on Deck.

Personal Life[]

Austin divides his time between living in Los Angeles and New York. He has dogs,. His family owns a historic restaurant called The Clarksville Inn. Located in West Nyack, New York, and originally opened in 1840 as a hotel. Austin devotes time to charitable causes such as Make-A-Wish Foundation, Starlight children's Fountain, and Variety's Powers of Youth. Austin has supported the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. He stated, "I known how import it is to have a supportive environment and feel good about yourself, especially as an adolescent."
