A Full Wizard or Family Wizard is the winner of their family's Family Wizard Competition or a wizard who becomes a professor at WizTech and keeps their powers. That person becomes a full wizard, which means that they alone possess all the magic of their family, meaning that person has a level of magical power much higher than a regular wizard. If a wizard-in-training is an only child, it is presumed that they do not take part in any Wizard Competition, and they are automatically Full Wizards. Professor Crumbs has shown the ability to make people full wizards outside of the Family Wizard Competiton, granting Justin Russo the powers and status of a full wizard even though he had lost the competition.
