Daryl Sabara is an American actor. He is mainly known for playing T.J. Taylor on Wizards of Waverly Place.
Early Life[]
Daryl Sabara was born on June 14, 1992 in Torrance, California. He graduated from West Torrance High School in 2010. He has a fraternal twin brother, Evan. He is of a Russian-Jewish descent from his mother and Polish descent from his father, and had a Bar Mitzvah Ceremony. He began performing with the regional ballet Company.
Personal Life[]
Sabra began dating sing-songwriter Meghan Trainor in July 2016. They became engaged on December 21, 2017 and married on December 22, 2018, Trainor's 25th birthday. On October 7, 2020, Trainor and Sabra announced they were expecting their first child together, a boy. On February 8, 2021, Trainor gave birth to their son. In January 2023, Trainor and Sabra announced they were expecting their second child together.
Career[]
Daryl is well known for portraying Juni Cortez in the Spy Kids film series. He began acting during the mid-1990s, appearing on episodes of Murphy, Life's Work, Friends, and Will and Grace before being cast as Juni Cortez in the Spy Kids series. Sabara provided the voice role of Hunter in Father of Pride. He appeared in episodes of Weeds, House, Dr. Vegas, and was one of the judges of America's Most Talented Kid. Sabra voiced the main character, Hero Boy, in the 2004 animated version of The Polar Express. He then played a young Jewish boy trying to have a nice Bar Mitzvah in Keeping up with the Steins. He also guest starred in Criminal Minds, episode P911 where he played a sexually molested child. He also provided the voice of the titular character in Generator Rex. He then appeared in the film Her Best Movie and Choose Your own Adventures. And also appeared as a School bully Wesley Rhoades in Rob Zombie's Halloween. He then played Irwin in the theater play Catskills Sonata. In 2003, Sabara made a guest appearance as Owen on an episode of Friends. Sabara also gain a recurring role in Wizards of Waverly Place as T.J. Taylor. He voiced Butch Magnus Milosevic in The Boondocks episode Shinin. He appeared in two episodes of The Batman; Harris and then Scorn. He costarred in the 2009 film April Shows. He played Kyle in World's Greatest Dad. He appeared in Easy To Assemble, where he played a character named George. He appeared in the movie Machete in 2010, and the MTV movie Worst. Prom. Ever on May 10, 2012. He co-starred in John Carter as Edgar Rice Burroughs. He portrayed the recurring role of Tim Scottson in seven episodes of Weeds. In 2014 he starred in the off-Broadway play The Library.
