"Dad's Buggin' Out" is the eighteenth episode of season three of Wizards of Waverly Place, and the sixty-ninth of the overall series. It first aired on June 4, 2010.
Summary
Justin wants to have good senior year moment where he can win the school's Lifetime Achievement Award, and hosts a banquet at the Sub Station. Students at school, however, only decide to attend there because of Joey the Crepe Kid. Meanwhile, Alex leaves the portal door open, and a Wizard Bug comes in, biting Jerry and turning him into a giant cockroach. When it's time for Justin's Alien Language League banquet, Joey leaves the Sub Station in disgust after seeing Jerry.
In order to save the banquet, Theresa makes new Crepes, but Jerry vomits acid on them and slurps them up. Alex comes up with a plan to showcase Jerry as an alien bug from a distant planet who came to Earth just for the Alien Language League banquet, and presents Justin with his Lifetime Achievement Award. At the end, the students leave while Theresa makes biscuits and corn for Alex. Justin thanks Alex during his speech and is glad that he won a huge award, only for Jerry to regurgitate acid on the trophy and dissolve it.
