Cody Martin (born 29 July 1992, age 24) was a character from the Suite Life series, who guest starred on Wizards of Waverly Place, in its feature-length crossover, Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana. He is the twin brother of Zack Martin, the son of Carey and Kurt Martin and the maternal nephew of Martha. Cody had recently lived in the Tipton Hotel, which was located in Boston. The summer of 2008, saw he and his brother moving to the SS Tipton (The Suite Life on Deck) and stayed there for three years, until they graduated. He currently lives in New York City, with his now-future-wife, Bailey Pickett. Martin, during his time on the show, has made many friends, them being, Harper, Marcus, Bailey, Woody, London, Maddie, Jessica, Janice, Bob, Barbara, Raven, Rebecca, Stacie, Esteban and Arwin.
Cody is portrayed by Cole Sprouse.
Biography[]
Before Suite Life[]
Cody Martin was born on Wednesday 29 July 1992 at St. Victoria Hospital, in Wisconsin at 11:59pm, by mother, Carey Martin. Cody's identical brother, Zack, was born on 30 July 1992 at 12:00am. Weeks after their birth, Carey traveled across the country with her two sons, before settling into the Tipton as seen in the first Suite Life episode, 'Hotel Hangout'. Cody and Zack had also moved schools a lot, the last one being, Duffman's Elementary School.
Characteristics[]
Cody is seen as a nice and geek-sort-of teenager. He doesn't know how to socialise with others but tries to. When he is put in a nervous place, i.e, on a date or forced to tell the truth, he stammers but manages to do good in the end. Cody loves succeeding and hates people pulling him down. In a test, if he gains 90% or 99% instead of 100, he gets angry and selfish, and demands a re-count. Various cases see him not getting what he wants, angering him. Cody is a complete opposite to Zack, as Zack doesn't care about achieving that much.
Appearance[]
Cody dresses up differently from his peers. He always wears cardigans, which brings in his geeky-lovable side. Martin doesn't like wearing other clothes, such as jeans, inappropriate top slogans, etc. He does not mind letting other people saying what he really looks like. Cody's dress sense teams up with his personality (smart, funny and brainy). He also dresses the opposite to Zack, as he dresses in skateboard function.

Zack Martin (1992-Present; Twin Brother)[]
Zack is the youngest brother of Cody as he was born at 12:00am on July 30, 1992. Zack at various points of Suite Life, does not like his brother as he finds him very weird and uncool, but at some-points, loves him to bits, even if he does not show it. Zack often criticizes what he wears and his personality, such as being a germ freak. When they were little kids, Zack had a dream that Cody had impersonated him to date his former crush, Sasha Downly, making him worried. Now, Zack and Cody are on good terms.
Carey Martin (1970-Present; Mother)[]
Carey is the mother of Cody. She has a good bond with him, as they are alike. At different points of the Suite Life Series, Cody is very clingy towards his mum, due to him not letting her leave him.
Kurt Martin (1970-Present; Father)[]
Kurt is the father of Cody. He left the country on 1 August 1992, just days after, Zack and Cody's birth, leaving wife Carey being a single mother. He returned in both The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and The Suite Life on Deck. Furthermore, he has a very good bond with Cody.
