Cab 804 is the cab Alex Russo was born in. It is featured in "Taxi Dance" when it was going to be scrapped, but Alex accidentally brought it to life when she meant to fix it.

Characteristics[]

Cab 804 is an old 1960s Checker Marathon cab and is yellow like all cabs in New York. It has a black and white checkered strip printed on the side and a white sign on the top with 804 printed on it. It has a large silver front bumper and silver radiator. It also has a Canadian Rockies car freshener hanging from the rearview mirror.

Significance[]

Cab 804 is very special to the Russo family. The family remembers everything about this cab seeing as it has a lot of sentimental value as compared to the room Justin was born in which they don't remember anything about.

Trivia[]

  • This was previously the name of a taxi cab used in a 1978 two-part episode of the show Taxi. The show aired on ABC when Disney head Bob Iger was working for the network.
  • Cab 804 likes to be called Bert, as shown in "Taxi Dance".
  • The driver of cab 804 considers himself to be Alex's uncle.
  • Alex was born in the back seat of the cab.
  • Thus may be a tribute to the 4th episode of the 2nd season of Frasier, "Flour Child", in which a baby is born in a cab numbered 804. However, this episode of Fraiser was also directed by former regular Taxi episode director James Burrows, who also directed the 1st season Taxi episode "Memories of Cab 804 Part 2," which saw a baby born in a cab 16 years before this Fraiser episode.
