"Beast Tamer" is the fifteenth episode of season four of Wizards of Waverly Place, and the ninety-sixth of the overall series. It first aired on June 24, 2011.

Plot

When Mason ignores Alex's invitation to the Beast Bowl so he can work on an anniversary gift, Alex decides to go anyway and she meets a boy named Chase. At the Beast Bowl, Justin and Max dress up like clowns. Justin wants to prove to Chase that he is no amateur. He gets overpowered by the beast and throws the whip outside the Bowl. Alex ends up with the whip and comes in, but the beast gets her as well. Finally, Mason comes with the anniversary gift wrapped in a white cloth, he too gets overpowered by the beast. Chase comes in to rescue Alex. Mason then shows the gift to Alex.
