The Angels of Darkness are the wicked, mean, and corrupted opposite of the Guardian Angels and they have no problem with using their powers for personal gain and to evil doing. Their presence turns good people into evil ones and influences them to do bad actions like stealing or lying. They have black wings.
Dark Realm[]
The Dark Realm is the headquarters of the Angels of Darkness and, contrary to their good cousins, is actually located on Earth, at the top of the Empire State Building (this is similar to the episode The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex as bad deeds happen at the top of a landmark). The Dark Realm possesses a black aura, making it look like it's always night, though the mortals apparently don't notice it.
It's very gothic and possesses various gargoyles around. The throne of Gorog, their ruler, is located here. Wizard powers are weak in the Dark Realm.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Telepathy: Angels are capable of holding mental conversations with other people, without the need of using vocals.
- Power Granting: Angels of Darkness can grant fallen angel powers to other beings.
- Morality Manipulation: Angels of Darkness influence people into doing evil deeds through their physical presence.
- Flight: Angels of Darkness have the power of flight, which is channeled through their motionless wings.
- Spellcasting: Angels of Darkness are capable of directly manipulating magic into spellwork, or at least make wands sparkle.
- Invisibility: Angels of Darkness have the power to turn themselves invisible.
- Molecular Manipulation: The power to manipulate matter at a molecular level. Angels of Darkness use this power to transmute their wings to look like those of a Guardian Angel.
Source of powers[]
If the Moral Compass is turned from evil to good, Angels of Darkness are left weakened. This makes it necessary to keep the Compass in the Dark Realm to ensure that the Angels of Darkness have the power and energy that they need.
Trivia[]
- Angels of Darkness share some similarities with the Darklighters from the fantasy show Charmed.
